This website is a personal portfolio. It is designed to process as little personal data as possible: it sets no tracking cookies, embeds no advertising, and uses only cookieless, privacy-preserving visitor statistics (see “Web analytics” below).

SERVER LOG DATA
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data (such as IP address, date and time of the request, browser type) in server log files to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Log data is not merged with other data sources.
CONTACT FORM AND EMAIL
The contact form on this website does not transmit data to a server of its own. When you submit the form, it opens a pre-filled message in your own email application; the data you send is then processed as ordinary email correspondence for the purpose of handling your request (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR). Emails are retained only as long as necessary for that correspondence.
WEB ANALYTICS
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA) to measure aggregate page views and visits. The service is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and does not track visitors across websites. Requests are counted using an anonymized hash that is incapable of identifying an individual visitor and is discarded after 24 hours. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage of this website). No personal profiles are created.
FONTS AND ASSETS
Web fonts and all other assets are served from this website itself (self-hosted). No connection to third-party font services is established when the site loads.
EXTERNAL LINKS
This website links to external services such as edX, DOI, CEUR-WS, and ORCID. If you follow those links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
YOUR RIGHTS
